The Immunogenetics laboratory at the Mount Sinai Health System provides clinical HLA (histocompatibility leucocyte antigen) testing services to support the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation program. HLA testing is also available for other clinical applications and clinical research purposes. The Laboratory is accredited by the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI), the College of American Pathologists (CAP), and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
The Immunogenetics clinical services we provide, include:
HLA Testing for Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation
HLA Typing and HLA Antibody Testing for Other Clinical Applications
Routine Turn-Around-Time (TAT) or STAT Testing
