Emma Warren, founder and director of HERA Consulting (a health economics consultancy in Australia), is a health economic modeler with more than 20 years practical experience in the design, development and implementation of health economic evaluations. This experience has been gained across a large variety of therapeutic areas including obesity, oncology, virology, dermatology, ophthalmology, dentistry, and co-dependent (companion diagnostic) PBAC/MSAC submissions.
Emma has worked in health economics in or for the pharmaceutical industry in Australia for over 20 years. Prior to establishing HERA Consulting in 2010, Emma held the position of Health Economics Manager at Janssen-Cilag, responsible for the Oncology/Virology portfolio and line management of two HE Project Managers. Prior to immigrating to Australia, Emma was an evaluator in the NICE Health Technology Appraisal Team (currently known as EAG) at the University of Sheffield. Her primary interests are health economic modelling (CUA and CMA) and budget impact analysis but is able to strategize/complete all sections of PBAC submissions.
