Guardian Research Network is a non-profit, mission-driven consortium that has partnered with community health systems throughout the US to create a centralized longitudinal database of electronic medical record (EMR) data. GRN has developed proprietary query technology and natural language processing (NLP) tools that allow our system to “read” the charts to create customized cohorts of patients for real-world evidence (RWE) analysis, archival specimen collection, and prospective trial/registry matching.
GRN’s network members treat over 40 million lives. with access to complete medical records – including progress notes, outcomes results, medication history, lab/test results from oncology AND non-oncology encounters within the health system – GRN creates comprehensive HIPPA-compliant datasets that give our customers invaluable insights into health care practices and health outcome. We’ve since grown, impacting and partnering to provide:
1. Health Systems with integrated, harmonized data, refined analytics and precision medicine opportunities using our sophisticated technology.
2. Life Science organizations with clinical development speed and efficiency through discrete trial matches, diagnostic and therapeutic, while empowering clinical researchers with both molecular and clinical specimens
3. Patient access to innovative, targeted and novel therapies via high performing investigational community hospitals
