The Flow Cytometry Core Facility was established within the School of Medicine and Health Sciences in July 2004. In 2009, the facility came under the auspices of the Office of the Vice President for Research. The facility provides high quality service to investigators within the George Washington University, as well as outside individuals. Two flow cytometers in the facility are user-operated and the other is operated by the Core Facility’s personnel. The facility also houses a matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometer for proteomic analyses.
