Gene Edited Models of Human Disease- Through the use of gene editing and somatic cell nuclear transfer, Exemplar has developed “off the shelf” fully characterized minipig models. Some of these disease indications are, but not limited to MYH7, TNNI3,TTN, LMNA, MYBPC3, LMNA, NF1,CLN2,CLN3, DMD,FSHD and PKD1.

Custom Model Development-Exemplar works with clients to develop customized Minipig models tailored for their specific research interest. Exemplar assists in model design and characterization of the desired disease phenotype, and provides access to facilities and expert staff for customers to perform procedures and experiments.

Preclinical Services-Exemplar offers a full suite of services designed for our clients specific preclinical research needs, including therapeutic dosing and efficacy studies. Our facilities are fully accredited by AAALAC, meaning they meet or exceed all required regulatory and animal welfare standards.
