New Startup (0-1M TTM Revenue)

In 1969, Pr Philippe Masson creates Evic Ceba, laboratory located in Bordeaux, France, designated to pharmacological and toxicological experiments.

The success of this first company and the expertise of its scientists naturally lead to the extension of the know-how to the global exploration of ingredients and products from the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical and food fields: in 1987, creation of Evic Idec, clinical research organization on healthy subjects; in 1991, foundation of in vitro / ex vivo department (Evic Bio).

In 2000 Evic Ceba becomes Evic France and expands its capacities abroad. In a world of internationalisation of the needs of the industry and globalisation of the markets, Evic France enlarges its service offer and creates with local partners research and evaluation centres in Brazil, Romania, Italy, Spain, China, thus introducing the renown “Evic” label.

To optimize this new network of laboratories, EVIC International is created in 2005, meant to manage independently the group organisation and functioning. The purpose of EVIC International is to coordinate and harmonize the activity of the companies and induce them on a common level of excellence.
