Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Biospecimen Repository Core provides a safe and secure environment for frozen sample storage with multiple power sources. Emergency back-up gas generators are in place and tested monthly. The third energy source is LN² jacketing for all of the -80º C freezers.

This core gives researchers an opportunity to store their valuable materials without using their own limited research space.
