2/- A customized encapsulation service for any cell line provided by our clients (cancer line, kidney, intestine, etc…) to grow organoids (e.g. for disease modeling, or subcloning of cancer lines).
Cyprio’s cutting edge patented technology (originated from ESPCI) is based on the high throughput encapsulation of a precise number of cells within a liquid-core alginate capsule. In this porous microenvironment, the cells can self-assemble to form a 3D structure, which more accurately reproduces functionalities of the tissue under study than monolayer 2D cell cultures. These easy to handle organoids are adaptable to any bioassay (number of organoids capsules per well from 1 to 200) or bioimaging , and can predict liver in vivo response with improved precision and can represent an interesting alternative to animal models
