The Biospecimen Core Resource (BCR) is a CAP-accredited laboratory and biorepository within the Biopathology Center (BPC) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The BCR supports multiple cancer genomics projects such as The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), Cancer Driver Discovery Project (CDDP), HIV+ Tumor Molecular Characterization Project (HTMCP) and Burkitt Lymphoma Genome Sequencing Project (BLGSP), Therapeutically Applicable Research to Generate Effective Treatments (TARGET), Adjuvant Lung Cancer Enrichment Marker Identification and Sequencing Trials (ALCHEMIST) and Exceptional Responders (ER) Initiative.
