Charité Research Organisation is a Contract Research Organisation focused on helping its clients move development projects from First Time In Human to Proof of Concept as quickly and efficiently as possible. Based in Berlin, at the very heart of Europe, CRO was founded in collaboration with Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

Charité Research Organisation:
1. is a Qualified Phase I and POC unit with 70+ beds for hospitalisation and large out-patient facilities;

2. has approximately 200 dedicated staff, including board certified physicians, nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists, PMs, QMs, data entry staff, independent QA and own recruitment team;

3. conducted more than 367 First Time in Human, Phase 1 and POC projects since 2006 in the therapy areas of rheumatology, dermatology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, pulmonology, cardiology, neurology, psychiatry, infectious diseases and ophthalmology;

4. is specialised for the study types of First Time in Human, Phase 1 and POC, which Includes biosimilar studies, imaging, medical device and methodology studies, blood and tissue sampling studies, pre-screening studies;

5. provides a unique environment with access to accredited safety lab, ISO certified biomarker labs, imaging facilities and licensed GMP pharmacy, key opinion leaders from the Charité University Hospital and relevant patient populations.
