The Center for the Study of Measurement and Quality Certification, CESMEC SA is a private, independent organization dedicated to providing engineering services related to product certification, laboratory analysis, testing, calibration, inspection and certification of quality systems.
Laboratories and facilities headquartered in Santiago today is a group of 6,500 m2 with equipment and high-tech instruments. These facilities almost doubled when considering other regions.
CESMEC staff consists of over 800 people, including a staff of 650 professionals and technicians dedicated full time to laboratory work and field time.
From 01/04/2008 Cesmec became part of group Bureau Veritas, to acquire 100% of this group of Cesmec operations in Chile, Argentina and Peru. With this Cesmec, already leader in Chile in inspection, testing, health, safety, environment, etc., will boost its development even more by using the natural synergies.
