Research information technology (IT) requirements often differ from administrative and patient-care requirements; the Research Informatics and Scientific Computing Core (RISCC) was established to provide the research community with streamlined access to research-specific IT resources at Cedars-Sinai.
The RISCC provides centrally managed disk space, virtual servers, high performance computing (HPC), tools for collaboration with other institutions, access to specialized software for researchers (such as EndNote and MATLAB) and consulting/database and application development services.
