Spin-out from the Farndale Lab in University of Cambridge, designed to take forward the manufacture and supply of collagen peptides to academia and the pharma industry.

CambCol Laboratories is a new venture, that was established to transfer the peptide synthesis facility and related interests of the Farndale Lab in Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge into a new, commercial entity.
The core business of CambCol Laboratories is the synthesis and distribution of collagen-like, triple helical peptides and platelet-related materials. These have been developed over 20 years of research in the “Farndale Lab” in Cambridge and are supplied to over 100 laboratories worldwide to underpin diverse basic and clinical research projects in thrombosis and haemostasis in academic and commercial settings for many years. The range is under constant review and continuous expansion and the company also offers a “bespoke” peptide synthesis service where required.
