Spinal Cord Injury Core
Spinal Cord Injury Core (SCI Core) at Burke Medical Research Institute (BMRI) offers expertise on conducting spinal cord injury experiments and a facility with advanced equipment for scientific preclinical surgical and behavioral studies. BMRI researches may request SCI Core expertise and/or use of the facility and equipment to conduct research studies.
Preclinical Surgical and Behavioral Suites
SCI Core consists of a surgical suite (300 sq ft) and behavioral testing suite (120 sq ft) designed and built for preclinical spinal cord injury modeling and outfitted with all the necessary equipment for generating experimental SCI models.
