We are experts in developing in vitro 3D Human-derived Adipose Tissue and Heart Spheroids and Organoids. Our 3D human models are self-assembled and Matrigel-free, setting us apart from our competitors. Our 3D human models are morpho-functionally validated compared to classic 2D models widespread in drug discovery and development. In addition, we provide consulting in 3D technologies and confocal and high throughput microscope imaging focused on morphological and functional characterization of 3D models.

OUR PORTFOLIO FOR ADIPOSE TISSUE INCLUDES:

- Models derived from human adult cells. Stromal vascular fraction, SFV of both subcutaneous and visceral fat depots, the latter an exclusive product that sets us apart in the market.

- Bonds Bio 3D human Adipose Tissue organoids in the most advanced platform to access mitochondrial respiration (OCR) and glycolysis (ECAR) (3D Seahorse plates – Seahorse, Agilent) ready to treat and read.

- 2D-to-3D transition kits containing 96-well plates with 3D progenitor organoids and 96-well plates with 2D progenitor cells in a monolayer to run Bonds Bio Adipose Tissue differentiation protocol in parallel (Subcutaneous or Visceral). This transition kit is for you who need an extra layer of confidence before a complete transition to Bonds Bio 3D human mature organoids.

We provide our organoids in 96- and 384-well plates, with individual organoids per well, an outstanding source of unique feature samples for your testing, allowing for mid-to-large scale analysis and compatible with the most common high-throughput systems available in the market.

Our models are validated using cells from healthy donors (commercially available now) and Patient-Derived Organoids (PDOs) with samples from different ages, races, BMI index, and diseases (e.g., Type 2 diabetes, cancers). (For more information on our PDO line, contact us).

COMING SOON…

In addition to the human adult SVF-derived adipose tissue models, we are developing outstanding Adipose Tissue and Heart 3D human models derived from human-induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs). We are now differentiating hiPSCs into subcutaneous, visceral, and beige-like adipocytes to assemble the next generation of Bonds Bio 3D human Adipose Tissue Organoids from hiPSCs.

Last but not least, very soon, we will launch our hiPSC-derived Heart spheroids and Heart Organoids for you to test drugs cardiotoxicity and cardiovascular diseases in two outstanding platforms, more sensitive than their 2D peers and less complicated to handle than engineered-heart tissues (EHTs). Your heart will “beat faster” with Bonds Bio 3D Heart models (For more information on our Cardio line, contact us).

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

The development of human physiologically relevant 3D organoids is made more accessible with Bonds Biosystems.

Our Mission is to turn INNOVATIVE science into more accurate and affordable therapies for patients worldwide through In VITRO 3D solutions, envisioning the creation of technologies that accelerate drug development, enhancing new therapies’ efficacy to bring new HOPES to humankind, preferably reducing costs and reducing or even avoiding the need for animal models use.
