About Us
The Biological Resource Centre is an AAALAC-accredited facility located in the Biopolis campus. This facility is separated into three Departments:
Department 2 is a SPF facility that houses both small and larger animals. Designated holding rooms are available for housing animals in addition to procedure rooms for experimental use.
Department 3 has a higher health status (Specific Pathogen-free+), housing small animals.
All departments have the necessary veterinary and husbandry support required for the daily operations of the facility.
Our Mission
Support A*STAR’s mission by providing and delivering quality research animals & related scientific services to the research community (academic & commercial) in Biopolis and Singapore.
