Biodesy is developing the first products and systems to rapidly and inexpensively measure structural changes of biological molecules in real time, with applications including drug discovery and structural biology. Based on a phenomenon called second-harmonic generation, Biodesy has developed a unique and highly sensitive technology for detecting structural changes in proteins and other biological molecules in real time. By changing conformation, proteins and other biological molecules modulate function, interact with different molecules, and participate in multiple molecular pathways. Therefore, characterizing these changes will provide significant insights into how different biomolecules function and respond to drug candidates.

Biodesy, Inc. was founded in 2013, based on technology and intellectual property developed in 2000. Our investors include 5AM Ventures, Pfizer Ventures, Alexandria Venture Investments, and Roche Venture Fund. Our headquarters are located in South San Francisco, California.
