Bicycle Therapeutics was founded in mid-2009 as a spin out of the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology (Cambridge, UK), based on work of the scientific founders Professor Sir Gregory Winter and Professor Christian Heinis with initial seed funding from Atlas Ventures and Novartis Venture Fund.
