AvantiCell Science Ltd (ACS) specialises in cell-based analysis using human primary and stem cells. ACS delivers cell-based services and cell products to a customer base spanning industry sectors, from pharmaceutical drug discovery through nutraceuticals and food development, to nanosafety testing. AvantiCell’s unique expertise is in isolation of human primary cells from healthy or diseased tissues sourced as surgical excess with full ethical permission. Analytical platforms cover a wide range of tissues, including lung, kidney, vasculature, adipose, muscle, neural and digestive tract. The primary cell platforms are complemented by assays based around iPS-derived cells expressing tissue-specific differentiated phenotypes. AvantiCell has assembled technology for 3D culture of these cells, and for delivery of the cells as a pre-plated frozen product in multiwell plates.
