The mechanical behavior of materials facility is a state-of-the art facility for mechanical testing of all kinds of materials at various length scales.

A partial list of capabilities includes:

Tensile, Fatigue, and Creep testing.

Nanoindentation, and in situ indentation in an SEM, micropillar and microtensile testing.

Microstructural characterization and fractography.
