The Core Facility of Genetically Engineered Mice (GEM) is a nonprofit laboratory focusing on biomedicine and genetics research to advance human health. Our mission is to discover the genetic basis for preventing, treating and curing human disease, and to enable research and education for the global biomedical community. Our work uses the mouse as a research tool. Because mice and humans share 95% of their genes, mice are an effective and efficient model for human diseases. Here, we:
