Allele Diagnostics, a subsidiary of Allele Biotech, focuses on the commercial distribution of proprietary SARS-CoV-2 related antibody reagents that are llama-derived nanoantibodies (VHH antibodies). Our nanoantibodies that recognize the S- and N- proteins of SARS-CoV-2 can be used for research, diagnostic, and therapeutic purposes. The nanoantibodies are 120-150 aa single polypeptides that encode the antigen-binding domain of VHH antibodies. Compared to conventional monoclonal antibodies, nanoantibodies are thermally and chemically stable.
Allele Diagnostics recognizes the need of massive need of high quality, low cost COVID-19 recognizing antibodies, particularly those that also bind the main variants, and is providing its advanced nanoantibodies to 3rd parties through mass production contracts.
Allele Diagnostics is a subsidiary of Allele Biotech, which produces proprietary nanoantibodies as well as cGMP-grade human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) which can be derived into various human tissue cells for disease modeling, including human lung epithelial cells for testing COVID-19 interventions.
