AgroUnit is a private certified Trial Unit G.E.P. (Good Efficacy Practice) and G.L.P. (Good Laboratory Practice), accredited by the Greek Ministry of Agricultural Development and Foods and General Chemical State Laboratory of Greece.
AgroUnit was established in 2001, based in Larissa, Greece, with it’s objectives including evaluation of plant protection agrochemical products, fertilizing products, evaluation of seed varieties, as also residue trials.
For plant protection products that are being tested for registration or under development, either for already existing products, trials are being carried out, through which effectiveness, selectivity and potential phytotoxicity are ascertained and recorded.
Trials are being carried out with equipment and instruments of precision, that ensure high success of every evaluation. Crop or yield destruction is always approved by pictures and documents.
Furthermore, fertilizers of all forms are being tested for application at several crops. Also, seed varieties are being valuated.
The new feature of AgroUnit is conducting residue trials, G.L.P. (Good Laboratory Practice), in the open field or green-houses.
