Agrilead was established as a new company in 2005 with sights on growing into the industry through the offering of innovative services and products. Through the years the company has grown and diversified from a limited number of sales and marketing services to a broad range of innovative products and services with sharpened focus upon the seed care industry.

In 2008 Agrilead moved from the Kansas City area to Russell, KS to better serve a client in the specialty seed business. In 2010, Agrilead relocated locally in the Russell area to the present day location with needed warehouse, laboratory, and office space.

In 2011, Agrilead introduced the Novo Seed Care Prescription Management system which is developed in collaboration with a key technology partner, Junge Control of Cedar Rapids, IA. In January of 2014, Agrilead received it’s first Novo related patent involving SIRA (size indexed rate adjustment), a novel seed treatment method executed by the system.

In addition to the Novo system, Agrilead has developed a growing list of specialty seed treatment additives designed to improve the seed treating process and performance.
