AgeX has access to ~17,000 sq.ft. of office and lab space including 5000 sq.ft. of cGMP-capable manufacturing lab space with supporting clean rooms and hallways with a minimum of ISO 7/Class 10,000 and independently monitored differential air pressure and a gowning/ degowning airlock, and external LN2 and CO2 in support of Class 1000 cell culture rooms. Additional labs are fully equipped for cell culture, biochemistry, molecular biology, biochemical and immunochemical assays, imaging microscopy, flow cytometry, darkroom/x-ray film processing, along with dedicated rooms for cryostorage (LN2 and ultra-low mechanical freezers), cold room storage, and warehousing. The labs include 1K cell manufacturing spaces, with 10 biosafety cabinets, 11 Tri-gas Class 100 incubators and 9 standard CO2 incubators. AgeX has all major lab equiptmen needed to manufacture and quality control human stem cells and reagents to culture human cells.
