HMX2 Antibody (N-term) Blocking Peptide

Abcepta

DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 15372
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: Hmx2
  • Other Names: Homeobox protein HMX2, Homeobox protein Nkx-52, Hmx2, Nkx-52, Nkx5-2
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: Homeobox genes represent a class of transcription factors that play key roles in the regulation of embryogenesis and development. Here we report the identification of a homeobox-containing gene family that is highly conserved at both the nucleotide and amino acid levels in a diverse number of species. These species encompass both vertebrate and invertebrate phylogenies, ranging from Homo sapiens to Drosophila melanogaster.
  • Bio References: Wang,W., Dev. Cell 7 (3), 439-453 (2004)
  • Other Accession: NP_666110
  • Primary Accession: P43687
  • Targetspecificity: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7266a was selected from the N-term region of human HMX2. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
