DESCRIPTION

REAGENTS

DETAILS

  • Category: REAGENTS
  • Keywords: Agarose, Agarose Gel, agarose gel electrophoresis, why does dna move through an agarose gel, what is agarose, how to make agarose gel, agarose powder, agarose gel not solidifying, density of agarose, super resolution, super resolution agarose, sr agarose, high resolution agarose, screening agarose, molecular biology agarose, pcr agarose
  • Paragraph 1: Apex Super Resolution 3:1 is a molecular screening agarose developed to provide high resolution of small nucleic acid fragments- like PCR products. This agarose is specifically designed for analytical resolution of DNA fragments less than 1500bp and provides precise banding patterns without smearing or high background fluorescence. It is recommended for all analytical applications and can be used when DNA is recovered for subsequent use in enzymatic procedures. Like all Apex agaroses, Super Resolution 3:1 delivers much higher gel strength than competitors’ equivalents and is an excellent choice for blotting procedures. Apex SR 3:1 gels offer excellent transference in blotting for DNA fragments 150-200bp in 4% gels.
  • Paragraph 2: Range: <2000bp, Gel Temp: <40.5ºC, Melt Temp: <93ºC, EEO:<0.12, Gel Strength (1.5%) >2000, Gel Strength (4%) >4200, RNase/DNase: None Detected, Gel Background: Very Low.
  • Bullet Point 1: The 3:1 agarose blend provides high-quality resolution at concentrations of less than or equal to 1%
  • Bullet Point 2: Excellent for blotting fragments 150bp to 2000bp and exhibits outstanding transference for DNA fragments 154 - 2176bp in 4% gels
  • Bullet Point 3: Recovered DNA is perfect for subsequent use in enzymatic procedures
  • Bullet Point 4: Designed for analytical separation of DNA fragments < 1500bp
  • Manufacturer Sku: 20-106
