Abcepta

DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 51362
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: CDC40
  • Other Names: Pre-mRNA-processing factor 17, Cell division cycle 40 homolog, EH-binding protein 3, Ehb3, PRP17 homolog, hPRP17, CDC40, EHB3, PRP17, PRPF17
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: Pre-mRNA splicing occurs in two sequential transesterification steps. PRP17 is found to be essential for the catalytic step II in pre-mRNA splicing process. It is found in the spliceosome, and contains seven WD repeats, which function in protein-protein interactions. PRP17 has a sequence similarity to yeast Prp17 protein, which functions in two different cellular processes: pre-mRNA splicing and cell cycle progression. It suggests that this protein may play a role in cell cycle progression.

  • Primary Accession: O60508
  • Targetspecificity: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP1947c was selected from the Center region of human PRP17. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
