TOP2A Antibody (C-term) Blocking Peptide

Abcepta

DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 7153
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: TOP2A
  • Other Names: DNA topoisomerase 2-alpha, DNA topoisomerase II, alpha isozyme, TOP2A, TOP2
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: TOP2A encodes a DNA topoisomerase, an enzyme that controls and alters the topologic states of DNA during transcription. This nuclear enzyme is involved in processes such as chromosome condensation, chromatid separation, and the relief of torsional stress that occurs during DNA transcription and replication. It catalyzes the transient breaking and rejoining of two strands of duplex DNA which allows the strands to pass through one another, thus altering the topology of DNA.

  • Primary Accession: P11388
  • Targetspecificity: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP9248b was selected from the C-term region of human TOP2A. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
